I Am The Monster was The Undertoad's second release in 1992. Remastered and Reissued in 2915, this disc includes tracks which were recorded in Hollywood, where the motto was "Order, Consume, Enjoy, Smile." Produced by Dave Defoe, several tracks were originally released on limited edition tapes courtesy of DNF Productions. This album highlights the Toad's psychedelic influences.

The Undertoad were early '90's progenitors of Pomona noise rock and psychedelic funk. As rehabilitator of many downtown Pomona properties including The Haven Gallery and Coffeehouse and The Fox Theater, vocalist Ed Tessier has been a key figure in the Pomona Art Colony's development.
