"In Poland, where bands can play or record only with government approval, a small but dedicated underground scene exists. Poland's one record label is owned by the government, thus, so far, only a few Polish punk bands have been able to release vinyl. Despite the difficulties, the scene has stayed strong. The songs on this tape were recorded over a 5-year period, 1983 to 1988, and have been previously released, either on vinyl or on demos. With this tape, hopefully, the bands will get a little more of the attention they deserve."
