This is a remastered reissue of a very early Hurt release.

Tracks 1, 2, 5, 6, 9, and 13 are demos of songs that appear in their finished forms on the Hurt albums Vol. 1 and Vol. II. Track 5 is a demo of a song that appears in its finished form on The Blackmarket EP. Tracks 3, 4, 7, 8, 10-12 are demos of songs that never made it onto any major label Hurt releases.

Disc is all black with white lettering that says "Hurt" at the top and "Self-Entitled" at the bottom. In red cursive lettering below "Hurt" is "J Loren." Sleeve is a "gatefold" digipak case. No booklet/liner notes of any kind. The only credits to appear on this release read:

"Written, produced, and recorded... badly, a long time ago, with love by, HURT"

According to the merch page on Hurt 's official website, "A very limited number of this album was printed one time only. Once the remainder of these are gone, they will not be made available again."

J. Loren himself further states in the forum on the official Hurt website that this release is limited to no more than 2000 copies.

According to Hurt 's official Facebook page, fans who pre-ordered this release received a limited edition t-shirt, copies of handwritten lyrics, and a hand-numbered copy of Self-Entitled. Subsequently, the album was made available by itself (sans bundle), and those copies are NOT numbered.
