The first in the series of four self produced CDR compilations from this great of the Golden Age of Mento in Jamaica. He produced these from Decca and Pye masters kept and shared with him from the UK based labels, who pressed material up for him for sale in Jamaica where the recordings were originally produced.

Alerth Bedasse appears on many of the songs on this release and yet as he isn't credited by Ivan Chin on the release per track so I have left the blanks unfilled, though reference him as the main vocal artist for the release. Only reference to the original 78rpm releases has that information. Subsequent release of 3 more volumes of work, similarly on Cdr recordings are available, though exceptionally scare. They were sold through Cd Baby online only while he was still alive.

As you can see for this issue he produced no cover 'art' for the release.
