Bay Area recording artist Steven Emerson has delivered a true gem with SET IN MOTION, the new album produced by Jon Evans (bassist for Tori Amos). The sound is a blend of early 70's soul and 60's cool-school jazz.

Emerson's quietly seductive voice is perfectly complimented by luscious strings, gospel backing vocals and funky horns, to set a mood that recalls Al Green and Chet Baker in its intimacy and immediacy.
