Since the Up&Down Club opened in December of 92, we have been fortunate enough to have these talented musicians play here. There is a jazz phenomenon happening in San Francisco right now, and this collection shows all the different directions this music is able to go. When the club first opened, I was very fortunate to meet Gary Angell, who through his endless musical ties was able to hook me up with the main core of East Bay musicians.
