The Forms Series are albums created using just one synthesiser. Forms 4 was made entirely using Yamaha's VL1-m, the rack mount version of their flagship virtual modelling instrument the VL1, which was developed in the late 1980s and finally released to the public in 1994. All music created on the Yamaha VL1-m sound module. No other instruments, external effects or processing were used in this recording
