Notes

Given artist is "DJ Shadow And The Groove Robbers" on spine and "DJ Shadow" on labels. Durations were retrieved while splitting the recording on a computer.

Handed by Shadow to prospective MCs as a kind of portfolio in the mid nineties, it contains early mixes, mostly unreleased tracks and alternate mixes, therefore can be seen as a demo. Less than 60 tapes were ever made and updated regularly as the beats were evolving. The tracks are early compositions under different monikers or co-productions with and for Blackalicious, artists are not actually given on release but retrieved accordingly. The j-card's spine and "DJ Shadow" on cassette's stickers are handwritten by Shadow himself while "Tracks And Beats 1" and "Tracks and Beats 2" are handwritten by The 8th Wonder.

The following discrepancies over the tracks name occurred because they were not made publicly available back when the tape was given out, and were added by another person than Shadow. Where a difference exists it is mentioned below. When the tracks are unreleased the handwritten name was preferred.
